Rabih Elie Karam is the Group Chief Executive Officer of ALAIN. Rabih leads corporate strategy development, driving investment performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across all business sectors with a clear focus on governance, innovation and high-impact execution.
Over the past 29 years, Rabih has built a proven track record of success in real estate investment, development, asset management and capital investment- 20 of those with ALAIN. Rabih’s leadership roles have included CEO of Al Ain Properties and Acting CEO of Al Ain Capital, the real estate and capital investment arms of ALAIN, where he has led significant initiatives in strategic asset allocation and capital deployment. Prior to that, he served in a key executive role in the Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Rabih also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls and The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys, where he advocates for educational excellence and long-term community impact.
Earlier in his career, Rabih held senior roles with the Gargash Corporate Management Office in Dubai and with global hospitality leaders such as InterContinental Hotels and Marriott Hotels.
Rabih holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Notre Dame University and an IDP-C, a Corporate Governance qualification from INSEAD. He has also completed several executive programmes at INSEAD, Harvard Business School, and London Business School.
